Ordinance No. 2003-05-01 – An ordinance of the Village of Point Venture, Texas, amending Ordinance No. 2001-06-02 prohibiting the discharge of certain weapons, including firearms, explosive weapons, zip guns, bows and arrows, and sling shots within the village limits; providing for the following: findings of fact; a purpose; definitions; exceptions; restricting the discharge of air guns; an effective date; enforcement clause including injunctive relief and a criminal fine not to exceed $500 and civil penalties not to exceed $500 per violation; severability; and proper notice and a meeting.  (Passed and approved May 5, 2003 ).

Ordinance No. 2003-07-01 – An ordinance of the Village of Point Venture establishing the maximum height of buildings within the Village and regulations for antenna facilities, including providing for the following: findings of fact; popular name; purpose; applicability; definitions; building permits required; conditional use permits required; construction requirements; co-location requirements; receive-only antenna facilities; standards for variances; recognition of additional requirements in other ordinances; an effective date; enforcement clause including injunctive relief, a fine not to exceed $500 and a civil penalty not to exceed $100 per offense; a repealer; a severability clause; and proper notice and meeting.  (Passed and approved July 1, 2003 ).

Ordinance No. 2003-07-02 – An ordinance promoting public  health and sanitation, providing for: findings of fact; popular name; definitions; sanitation requirements; complaint procedures; administrative action; abatement of dangerous weeds; enforcement including maximum criminal fine of $2000.00 and maximum civil penalty for violation of ordinance; conflicting provisions; repealer; severability; effective date; and proper notice and open meeting.  (Passed and approved July 7, 2003 .)

Ordinance No. 2003-09-01 – An ordinance regulating junked vehicles, and enacting regulations and procedures regarding junked vehicles and providing for the following: findings of fact; popular name; definitions; declaration of public nuisance; complaint and investigation procedures; notice for removal and public hearing; order for removal; duty of owner or occupant of premises; vehicles not to be made operable; notice to Texas Department of Transportation; exemptions; administration of this ordinance; removal of vehicle; sale or disposal of vehicle; enforcement; maximum criminal fine of $200.00 or civil penalty of $100.00 for violation; repeal; severability; effective date; proper notice and meeting.

Ordinance No. 2003-09-02 – An ordinance ordering a general election to be held in the Village of Point Venture, Texas, to elect two village council members and a mayor; making provisions for the conduct of the election and resolving other matters incident and related to such election and providing for preamble incorporation; confliction provision; governing law; severability; proper notice and open meeting; and effective date.  (Passed and approved September 2, 2003 .)

Ordinance No. 2003-09-03 – An ordinance by the Village Council of the Village of Point Venture, Texas pursuant to Chapter 102, Vernon’s Texas Codes annotated, local government code, section 102.003 adoption of budget, whereby the Village Council of the Village of Point Venture, Texas hereby adopts the budget for the fiscal year 2003-2004 as set forth in the attached copy of Budget as part of this ordinance. (Passed and approved September 2, 2003 .)

Ordinance No. 2003-09-04 – An ordinance levying Ad Valorem taxes for use and support of the municipal government of the Village of Point Venture, Texas for 2003-2004 fiscal year; and providing when taxes shall become due and when same shall become delinquent if not paid.  (Passed and approved September 2, 2003 .)

Ordinance No. 2003-10-01 – An ordinance of the Village of Point Venture, Texas declaring unopposed candidates in the November 4, 2003 general village election elected to office; canceling the election; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date. Ordinance 2003-10-02 – An ordinance of the Village of Point Venture amending Ordinance No. 2002-11-02 adopting  the international residential code for one- and two- family dwellings, the international building code, the national electrical code, the international plumbing code, the international mechanical code, the international energy conservation code regulating and controlling the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair,  location relocation, replacement, addition to use or maintenance of one- and two-family dwellings and townhouses in the village, and the international fuel gas code; providing for revisions to code; issuance of permits and collection of fees; enforcement, including fines and penalties not to exceed $500; a repealer; severability; and proper notice and meeting.
