Ordinance No. 2002-09-02 – An ordinance of the Village of Point Venture, Texas, amending Ordinance No. 2002-05-01 which controls the presence and disposal of litter and the health and safety of others; such amendment providing for the following; findings of fact; a purpose; enactment of clarification and further definition; severability; and proper notice and a meeting.  (Passed and approved September 3, 2002 .)

Ordinance No. 2003-07-01 – An ordinance of the Village of Point Venture establishing the maximum height of buildings within the Village and regulations for antenna facilities, including providing for the following: findings of fact; popular name; purpose; applicability; definitions; building permits required; conditional use permits required; construction requirements; co-location requirements; receive-only antenna facilities; standards for variances; recognition of additional requirements in other ordinances; an effective date; enforcement clause including injunctive relief, a fine not to exceed $500 and a civil penalty not to exceed $100 per offense; a repealer; a severability clause; and proper notice and meeting.  (Passed and approved July 1, 2003 ).

Ordinance 2003-10-02 – An ordinance of the Village of Point Venture amending Ordinance No. 2002-11-02 adopting  the international residential code for one- and two- family dwellings, the international building code, the national electrical code, the international plumbing code, the international mechanical code, the international energy conservation code regulating and controlling the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair,  location relocation, replacement, addition to use or maintenance of one- and two-family dwellings and townhouses in the village, and the international fuel gas code; providing for revisions to code; issuance of permits and collection of fees; enforcement, including fines and penalties not to exceed $500; a repealer; severability; and proper notice and meeting. Passed and approved October 6, 2003 ).

Ordinance 2003-12-01 – An ordinance of the Village of Point Venture for flood damage prevention.

Ordinance No. 2004-11-01 – An ordinance of the Village of Point Venture providing that building permits shall expire if building is not commenced within ninety days of issuance or os not completed within one year from issuance of building permit.

Ordinance No. 2004-12-01 – An ordinance of the Village of Point Venture requiring electricians, plumbers and heating, ventilation and air conditioning contractors be licensed by the state.

Ordinance No. 2004-12-02 – An ordinance of the Village of Point Venture requiring applicants for building permits to post bond or other financial assurance for the cleanup or repair of streets and infrastructure.

Ordinance No. 2004-12-03 – An ordinance of the Village of Point Venture establishing a building commission.
